League Shield

The Management Committee have decided to permit 11 sides to enter this competition.

The teams will be split into 3 leagues as follows:

Fixtures in the mini leagues will be completed by no later than the w/c 21^st April 2008.

Any matches not completed by then will be declared as 0-0 draws.

The competition will proceed as follows:

 Top two from Group 1 plus winners of Group 2 and Group 3 will go forward to the semi finals.

The semi finals will be played as follows

 

Winners Group 1                      v          Winner Group 3

Runners Up Group 1                v          Winner Group 2

 

The arrangements for the Final will be notified later.

 

 

Thursday  3rd January 2008

Away game at Bury Town game is now on Thursday 10th January 2008. This will require a 4.45 pm departure from the club car park. Arrangements to be confirmed at training on Tuesday 8th January.

Congratulations to all of the players who made the Christmas Party a financial success.

Training was held on Sunday 30th December and some squad members were missing without informing me of their absence.
Missing training and informing me in advance is unfortunate but  acceptable if not too often, however missing training and not informing me in advance is unacceptable and disrespectful to me and Adam who sacrifice valuable family time. You are all running out of time to impress at this level.

Friday 16th November 2007

Training on Tuesdays is mandatory for all fit players. If exceptional situations prevent attendance contact Paul Boxer before the session. Fitness and training attendance is included when selecting our team.
 
Full training kit is to be worn on Tuesdays and for match days training shirt and sweatshirt is to be brought. Also, please pay more attention to your equipment: Clean Boots for Soft (with correct studs) and Hard ground to be brought on match days, astro trainers for training.
 
All outstanding FA fines to be paid at the first training session after being informed. Not paying these fines will exclude players from selection. Any unpaid fines by players who leave the club will result in a FA ban.
 
Youth Team Christmas Party is to be held on Friday 21st December. Tickets to be available very soon. Please start thinking about how many tickets you require. This event is likely to sell out so get your numbers right.  Cost £5.00. All profit from ticket sales are invested back into the Youth Team.

Regular Training on Tuesday night Trent Park 7.30 start (mandatory attendance).
 
Hillingdon Away Wednesday 3rd October( to be played at the home of Hanwell Town F.C.). Meet Cockfosters FC Car Park 5.30. Squad to be announced at training.
 
 

Tuesday 18th September;  Training is now on Tuesdays at Trent Park Astro 7.30 to 9.00. Bring footwear
for grass and astroturf and fluids. All players to inform Paul if they are
unable to train.

Friendlies against Cockfosters Reserves and a Leyton Orient XI are being
arranged.
 

Tuesday 11th September : Training. 6.45 pm start at Cockfosters FC.
 
Thursday 13th September : League game away to Cheshunt 'B'. Squad to be announced at training on Tuesday. Meet Cockfosters FC Car Park at 6:00 pm.
